TRANSLATION PROBLEM? SOUNDS SERIOUS 😬

A Translation Problem is serious because it’s systemic. Words are powerful. Getting them right separates good brands from good ideas.

Usually the problem started before anyone was paying attention. The spot in the brainstorm where you slotted something in “for now” but never circled back.

That placeholder gets borrowed indefinitely by designers, copywriters, social media managers, even your AI inputs and now literally nothing sounds right. Parsing it out is like trying to untangle a pile of old necklaces. Overstimulating, futile, and leaves your hands smelling kinda weird.

MVCK lives and works upstream where words get chosen carefully so a brand’s voice gets built correctly.

Brand Lexicography isn’t marketing.
It’s what makes marketing possible.

HOW you get a content calendar, campaign, and copy that translates your brand into exactly what your customer needs to hear.

But like
what is a Brand Lexicon?

Fair enough. I did lowkey make that up.

It’s the brain that powers your brand.

An instruction manual for speaking your brand’s language so you aren’t starting from scratch every time you need to say something.

A (good) Brand Lexicon is a collection of world building docs:

brand strategy

aka who you are, what you do, who you do it for, and what you’re trying to accomplish.

where are they coming from, what’s their path to finding you/working with you/staying loyal to you.

customer strategy

how you tell people your thing exists.

marketing strategy

training wheels for driving your new strategy.

playbook

optional

So it’s really like the invisible y=mx+b that keeps your brand flowing in the right direction.

Why add to the
digital junk drawer?

You already have social media content pillars & brand guidelines.

If you give your team, contractors, or Chat GPT direction that produces perfect results every time then you’re right, you probably don’t need a Lexicon.

But if you’re questioning your sanity because no one around you sees the vision, gets the picture, or knows the vibes … we should probably chat ;)
